Supporting Indonesia’s commercial-scale beef cattle breeding industry
The Indonesia-Australia Commercial Cattle Breeding Program (IACCB) commenced in February 2016 as part of the Indonesia-Australia Partnership on Food Security in the Red Meat and Cattle Sector.
IACCB is piloting three different cattle breeding systems - Integrated Oil Palm and Cattle Production; Open Grazing; and Smallholder Cut and Carry
Simple management protocols need to be followed and IACCB is developing these based on specific learnings through the projects.
